Shree Jagannatha Society UK (SJSUK) is a registered charity dedicated to promoting the worship of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra in the United Kingdom.
Our Vision
To establish a permanent temple for Lord Jagannath in the UK, serving as a spiritual center for devotees and a cultural hub for the community.
Our Mission
To preserve and promote the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Jagannath worship, organize religious festivals, and serve the community through various charitable activities.
The Divine Trinity
Lord Jagannath, meaning "Lord of the Universe," is worshipped alongside His elder brother Lord Balabhadra and sister Devi Subhadra. This divine trinity originates from the sacred temple in Puri, Odisha, and has been venerated for thousands of years.
Rath Yatra - The Festival of Chariots
One of the most significant festivals in the Jagannath tradition is Rath Yatra, where the deities are taken in grand procession on beautifully decorated chariots. This festival symbolizes the Lord's journey to meet His devotees and is celebrated with great devotion and joy.

Our Temple Construction Mission
Lord Jagannatha, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra are now joyfully established (sthapana) at Shree Ram Temple, Southall, where they grace devotees with their divine presence. However, our mission does not end here.
Shree Jagannatha Society UK is actively working towards building a dedicated Jagannatha Temple — a permanent home for the Lords in the United Kingdom. This temple will serve as a spiritual sanctuary for generations to come, a place where devotees can worship, celebrate festivals, and experience the timeless traditions of Lord Jagannath.
